[Download-List] Download problems when sending a record of a file to my PC

BIll--

On my PC, the import.wis script is a generic one (from 1993)
that fetches data from a customer database...it does not use
any results of a prior DOWNLOAD run. I found the script
under c:\datatel\ui\filetran. Is that where yours is located?
If you could fetch a copy of the file, that might help identify
the problem. I'll insert a copy of my script below.

Typically, users would have DOWNLOAD write to a shared
network drive or write to a directory on the Unidata host and
then ftp the file to the local PC. Neither of these methods
would introduce the extraneous quotation marks.

Bill--

I'm wondering if your comment on "Run->Import" may give a clue. What
kind of software are you using to transfer the file from the Unidata
host to your PC?

The statement below works and sends the correct information into the
HOLD file but when I use Run->Import to pull the resultant record to
my
PC, I get double-quotes around my fields. Any ideas? This just started
happening
about 2 weeks ago - no changes have been made to Download in that
time.

I have even attempted to pull it using the TAB Separator but the same
thing happens. The only patches that have been installed are
C11924-63_UT and c11868-19_UT. Any thoughts?
