This appears to be a bug (which I will fix shortly).
In the interim, your DOWNLOAD should work if
you swap apostrophes and quotation marks.

Does Download support the use of TRANS in an EVAL statement?

 

LIST PERSON EVAL 'TRANS("PERSON",FORMER.EMPLOYERS,"3","X")[@VM,1,1]' 

works fine

 

DOWNLOAD PERSON EVAL 'TRANS("PERSON",FORMER.EMPLOYERS,"3","X")[@VM,1,1]'

Only returns empty value. Is there anything additional that I need?
