I note that using the APPEND keyword with an XML file doesn't write a
new version tag (good), but does include another set of root tags,
making the file invalid 'Only one top level element is allowed in an
XML
document.'
Shouldn't this work the same as HTML - keeping 1 version tag, and
inserting the appended data after the original data and before the
final
root tag ??
