Jeffery,
I'm not sure I understand the exact problem, but couldn't you use NUM.VALUES 2 VALUE.SEPARATOR "*"?

Subject: [Download-List] Picking specific values in multi-valued field
I’ve not done this before using DOWNLOAD…and if it is do-able, what’s the best method?
I need to create an extract for a 3rd party with the primary file being STUDENT.ACAD.CRED. I need to pull in from COURSE.SECTIONS the SEC.XLIST.COURSE.SECTIONS field. However, I can’t just use NUM.VALUES 2 (or ALL). The data spec wants the field to be PrimarySectionId*SecondarySectionId. I know I can massage the data in Excel after-the-fact or create a computed column but would like to create as few extra steps/computed columns as possible.
Suggestions? Thanks!
