Count Wabash in - this would be huge!! We use Download extensively and are moving to SQL this next year (6-9 months supposedly) and have not yet adopted another reporting tool, so this would be great.

Subject: [Download-List] Datatel clients using Cedarville Download

I have started some discussions with Datatel regarding running Download when the backend database is SQL Server. This is theoretically possible (with some reduced functionality) since all database access is done via MIO subroutine calls. The general concept is to allow Datatel clients to continue using Download while they transition to other reporting environments...perhaps removing one of the barriers to moving to SQL Server.

I am trying to determine how beneficial this would be for Datatel clients. If this would help your institution with its conversion to the SQL Server environment, please respond to this note. I welcome any comments or suggestions in this regard.

Thanks!
