[Download-List] XML.ASSOC.NAME feature in Informer?

Vin,
We use both informer and Download,
I am not sure I understand your question but Informer does let you export to XML.   Does that answer your question?  You also use the word "convert" now I am not sure anyone has written a tool to auto convert any download query to informer...

Hi all,

This isn't so much a DOWNLOAD question as it is an Informer question.

The DOWNLOAD utility lets you use XML qualifiers like 'XML.ASSOC.NAME<http://XML.ASSOC.NAME>'.  We need to convert an older Unidata query paragraph to Informer and we're wondering if this type of functionality is available in Informer.
For example:
DOWNLOAD PERSON @ID XML.NAME<http://XML.NAME> 'Adm_Id'   XML.ASSOC.NAME<http://XML.ASSOC.NAME> 'Biographical'
