[Download-List] Segmentation fault

Here are a couple of answers that were submitted previously in regards to
segmentation faults.  I hope this will give you an idea on where to look.

Make sure  these Unidata environment variables VFIELDSIZE and CSTACKSZ are
appropriately large.

Here is what we have in our profiles:
VFIELDSIZE=6000;export VFIELDSIZE
CSTACKSZ=200;export CSTACKSZ

Having the VIFIELDSIZE too small would cause problems with complicated
virtual fields (compilation failures and/or segment faults).

Issue UDT-3962 - Problem Description



UniQuery -- Beginning at UniData 7.2.8, when parsing a long UniQuery
statement that contained inline prompting, the udt process may have dumped
core. This only occurred if the number of characters in the sentence from
the beginning of an inline prompt to the end of the sentence exceeded the
U_LINESZ limit displayed by the ECL LIMIT command (currently 272
characters). This problem has been fixed in a later version of UniData.
