[Download-List] Download clarification

I am getting the following when using DOWNLOAD being called from a
Paragraph that is being called from a menu in UI R18 Colleague:

HSU.EBK.MI=SUBSTR(TRIM(EBK.MIDDLE),1,1)
Virtual field HSU.EBK.MI is syntactically correct.
Using input file EMPBKUP

I have checked and double checked the data and it appears to be correct
and I am not sure why I am seeing this but it will confuse my users when
they start seeing this so I am wondering what I need to do?

situation.
