[Download-List] Empty XML tags

Is there an option to not send empty XML tags ? Our 3rd party receiver has a schema that for some fields is described as positive integer. This field may be empty, in which case it's rejected as it's not a positive integer. How can we tell Download to not send this field if it's null ?
